Humanity at a Major Crossroads: PNAC or OBOR?

Posted by Tate Ulsaker on

Is the "One Belt One Road" (OBOR ) a viable alternative to the "Project for a New American Century" (PNAC)?
'
'
The Chinese and Russian driven OBOR is widely seen as investment-driven and development-driven towards a multi-polar world.
'
The American driven PNAC is widely seen as war-driven, lacking plurality, lacking long-term infrastructure investment, mainly aiming towards a one world Anglo-dominated government or a New World Order (NWO) run by the transnational structures that we see, quite frankly, controlling US banking and industry and politics on all levels yet often as the "hidden hand" behind the scenes.
'
The New Eastern Outlook put out an excellent story on the rise of OBOR coming under the radar from the media perspective but making really good progress with 29 nations coming together.  One could say this is nearly a media blackout in the west.
'
"Small but geopolitically important steps were taken by key members of the European Union from the EU’s Eastern periphery. While largely ignored in Western mainstream media and in Brussels, they could well portend a longer-term alternative economic space to the failing construct known misleadingly today as the European Union with its bankrupt Eurozone single currency and European Central Bank. I refer to the talks recently in Beijing at the major Belt and Road Forum, between leaders of 29 nations and China’s President Xi Jinping with the Prime Ministers of Hungary, Greece, Italy, Spain as well as the President of the Czech Republic and the President-elect of the Republic of Serbia."
'
'
'Compare that to the US version of world domination:
'
"A. Pax Americana: It is not a choice between preeminence today and preeminence tomorrow. Global leadership is not something exercised at our leisure, when the mood strikes us or when our core national security interests are directly threatened; then it is already too late. Rather, it is a choice whether or not to maintain American military preeminence, to secure American geopolitical leadership, and to preserve the American peace" (p. 76).
'
"The building of Pax Americana has become possible, claims "RAD," because the fall of the Soviet Union has given the U.S. status as the world's singular superpower. It must now work hard not only to maintain that position, but to spread its influence into geographic areas that are ideologically opposed to our influence."
'
'
'
'
It is all fairly obvious what is happening in the world today. We are witnessing a tectonic shift away from yesterday's waning powers, towards today's rising powers. As long as we avoid WWIII, this trend will continue.
'
"The list of Beijing attendees confirms that a tectonic fault line is developing across Europe between government leaders opting for national economic growth and development versus the nations whose leaders are still tied to the sclerotic, dying economies of the old Atlanticist order known as the American Century...Vladimir Putin called the [OBOR] development of an Eurasian Century."
'
'
As Putin said, the dying American Century is giving way to the Eurasian Century. Will it be PNAC or OBOR? Humanity is at a major Crossroads.
