The Crimean people have celebrated 3-years of peace and prosperity. If you want to invest in Russia, have a close look at Crimea.
In a recent article "Crimea Is an Investor's Paradise", Paul Goncharoff writes:
"Just this weekend saw the conclusion of the third Yalta International Economic Forum that took place on the southern coast of the Crimea from April 20 to 22. This soiree saw more than two thousand people, including 220 foreigners from 46 countries in attendance. During those three days, more than 30 contracts valued at more than 100 billion rubles (approximately $1.8 billion) were signed."
Crimea is an historic example of what is possible when people are given a choice between two very different protectorates in a multi-polar world.
In the case of Crimea, Russia has given peace, stability and prosperity in stark contrast to the destruction, death and poverty given to the areas of Donetsk and Lugansk just a few hundred kilometers away. Sadly, eastern Ukraine is still locked up in conflict while Crimea seems destined towards more prosperity and investment interest.
As more direct foreign investments enter Crimea, the global business community will be increasingly reminded of two showcase examples side-by-side for how today's unipolar world functions to the north and how a multi-polar alternative is charting a new way forward in Crimea.
